Active shooter Training

Don’t be unprepared!

You can learn how to prevent and survive an incident.

Unfortunately, active shooter incidents continue to happen at an alarming rate.  These tragedies have occurred at churches, businesses, schools, restaurants, shopping malls, government facilities, and most other places where people gather.  Instead of just hoping it doesn’t happen to you, make sure your organization and employees are properly prepared and equipped for the worst case scenario.  The proprietary ARX Active Shooter and Prevention course approaches this difficult subject by empowering all attendees with the knowledge and skills to prevent and/or survive an active shooter incident.  Instead of focusing only on the negative aspects, the course instead highlights the importance of a positive mindset and learning to be a survivor through examples of how regular people prevented or thwarted active shooter incidents.  Specifically, attendees learn how to plan, prepare, train, and respond to an active shooter incident.  The class teaches students how to identify the typical warning signs displayed by individuals planning an attack, and how and when to report these concerns in order to prevent a potential incident.  Finally, the class teaches the “Run/Hide/Fight” multi-option approach as the means to survive an active shooter incident. Instead of the fear-based training of Lockdown drills, our empowering training instead concentrates on the perspective that every individual can learn how to prevent and/or survive one of these incidents.  We also offer an active shooter exercise/drill that will allow attendees to practice their newly learned tactics in a safe and controlled environment.  Our lead Active Shooter Consultant is a Department of Homeland Security certified Instructor, and has planned and conducted hundreds of training sessions and drills throughout the country and for all types of organizations.  During your free consultation, we will discuss training options and work with you to develop a customized plan to best prepare your organization and employees for these types of unfortunate incidents. Providing comprehensive training not only will improve the safety of your employees and business, but will also dramatically reduce your liability in the event of an incident.
